Dexter High School

PROJECT DETAILS: The new senior high school in Dexter, Michigan was completed and opened for students in fall 2002. The eagerly awaited 315,000 square foot facility was designed with two 3-story radial classroom wingsfronted by glass curtain wallsproviding maximum natural light. The core of the facility contains the gymnasium, aquatic center and media center. Also included was a 900-seat performing arts center with full theater lighting, rigging and sound engineering. This project incorporated a fast-track design delivery system that allowed the school district to meet their desired schedule.
