Structural Associates, Inc. (SAI) is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Grand Rapids. This is a full-time, on-site position offering the opportunity to lead challenging projects and collaborate with a close-knit, experienced team.
Responsibilities
  • Perform structural design calculations, details, and specifications for buildings and other structures.
  • Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) during construction.
  • Conduct occasional site visits for inspections and field coordination.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the design and construction process.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Michigan, or eligible to obtain licensure promptly.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Positive attitude and collaborative mindset.
