Structural Engineer (Remote Position)

This is a full time work from home position. The candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the East Side of Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Perform design calculations, details, and specifications for buildings and other structures.
  • Perform construction-related services including shop drawing, reviews, and response to requests for information.
  • Occasional site visits. (Don’t worry.  You’ll be home for supper.)
  • Collaborate with architects and contractors on the design and construction of projects.
  • Manage projects and their budgets.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Professional Engineer. (No EIT’s please.)
  • Possess basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Can work efficiently and accurately.
  • Possess a positive attitude and can work well with others.
  • Be a self-motivated individual who can manage a project.

This is a full-time office position with the possibility of some work from home opportunity after you have proven that you are capable. The candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the Grand Rapids, MI area.

Structural Technician (Grand Rapids, MI)

This is a full time office position with the possibility of some work from home opportunity after you have proven that you are capable. The candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the Grand Rapids, MI area.

Responsibilities

  • Model and detail buildings and structures using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Produce construction drawings for use in permitting, fabricating, and erection.
  • Collaborate with architects and contractors on the detailing of projects.

Qualifications

  • Possess a two-year technical certificate or Associates degree.  For a strong candidate, we will consider hiring on a part time basis while they finish up classes this semester.
  • New graduates shall have references from at least one professor in a related field of study.
  • Be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Have ability to work efficiently and accurately.
  • Possess a positive attitude and be able to work well with others.

Structural Engineer / Engineer in Training (Detroit, MI)

This is a full-time work-from-home position with the understanding that once our office is established, the position will convert to an onsite position. The candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the greater Detroit, MI area.

  • Be a self-motivated individual who can manage a project.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
